ROT RALLEY 2014

	This years ROT Rally brought out the usual collection of mostly Harley Davidsons, Big Wheel Baggers, and stretched Hayabusas. I went downtown with my friend Tanya to take some photos of the ones that really caught my attention. Overall it was a fine collection of bikes I love to look at but would never want to won. LOL. I would say there were more female riders this year than in all the previous years i've gone to look at the bikes. Below is a collection of photos of the things that i found the most interesting. This year I did manage to go back down after it got dark. And while about 1/2 the bikes were gone by 10:30, I did manage to get a few good photos of illuminated bikes. Enjoy.

Just one block of 6 blocks covered in motorcycles. Another shot of the multitude of bikes. I'm guessing it takes a special talent to ride in those heals. My friend Tanya amongst a mass of bikes. A nice reflection of Tanya in a front wheel cap. Not many people can make these look good, but this guy pulls it off. Another guy that makes a commonly seen item look like it is supposed to. I really like the striking yet simplistic nature of this bike. Another nice black and red bike. Stretched Ruckes Scooter. GREEN!! Nice suicide shifter though. Another suicide shifter. I wonder if the scrapes have anything with having it being a hand shifter? I liked the way it looked like the spokes came to points Excellent air filter cover. I saw several of these filter covers but the lights really make it work. A nice tooled leather seat. A very unhappy fender. Another front fender. Nice cowling on a Big Wheel Bagger. Close up of the detail from the previous photo. This must look good in a rear view mirror. I've hear the term "bike porn" but I don't think this is what they meant. This bike was covered in this kind of imagery. Skeletons where the theme for the weekend. I loved this one, but it was so shiny it was hard to photograph. Note the face on the fender. Couldn't get a good shot of it. I don't usually like gold flake but this just wouldn't be the same without it. Classic image. A gaggle of stretched bikes, mostly Hayabusas. I found a stretched beemer amongst the Busas. Another gold bike that works well, at least with the greeen light on. This bike was pretty impressive. It had the tooled leather seat previously shown. The other side of the tank from the previous photo. And the back fender. And the front fender. (one of my favorites) How to make a simple and clean bike stand out in a crowd. This bike was parked in a really dark part of the street and the lights were very dim. Love this shot. Looks more like a suggestion of a bike. Love those fishtail pipes. Another dimly lit bike. Same bike that had the fishtail pipes. The bike in this and the next 2 photos would slowly change colors
