The park itself is pretty interesting. The trails have verity of environments ranging from prairie like fields, smooth river beds, steep rocky terrain climbing along a canyon rim, and the lush humid area around the spring fed falls. Gorman falls are the main attraction. They are fed by a spring that flows down and over a cliff face. It has created an almost surreal little area of thick vibrant green moss and mineral deposits that would look more appropriate in a cave. The spring doesn't run at a set rate. It was flowing when we were there, but i've seen photos of it flowing at a much greater rate than we saw. Aside from the falls, f you know anyone interested in geology you might suggest they take a trip out there. Lots of very interesting rock formations.
